Accucraft 32mm gauge Quarry Hunslet "Hugh Napier"

An Accucraft 32mm gauge, 16mm scale large Quarry Hunslet "Hugh Napier", in Penrhyn livery.

In excellent condition, the engine has had hydraulic and steam tests in our workshop with new certification issued - it runs well.

The original locomotive survives in preservation, owned by the National Trust and formerly based at Penrhyn Castle Railway Museum (home of several interesting locomotives including "Charles" - sister engine to "Linda" and "Blanche" of the Ffestiniog Railway and "Fire Queen" of 1848, one of the oldest surviving narrow gauge locomotives).

Currently resident at the Ffestiniog Railway under a long term loan arrangement, these days sporting the fabulous "Mars Bar" livery - well worth a visit to Porthmadog when it's next out if you haven't seen it (and easy to combine with a day at Penrhyn Castle, which is just up the road).

Supplied in full working order, with 12 months warranty. There is further information about the locomotive and an operator's manual available for download from Accucraft's website.
