Gauge 1 BR 9F 2-10-0 "Evening Star"

A part-built gauge 1 BR 9F "Evening Star", built to the Roger Thornber design published in "Engineering in Miniature" in 1999.

Work to date is to a high standard throughout and comprises a largely complete chassis, requiring return cranks setting and valve chest and cylinder front covers fitting to run on air.

Boiler is part assembled, silver soldered copper construction, designed for gas-firing.

There is a quantity of machined and unmachined castings and other parts, including tender frames, along with a set of magazines covering the build.
