Open crank hopper-cooled hit & miss engine

A finely made, scratch-built open crank hit & miss engine, the work of an experienced engineer with many fine models to his credit, including several rotary and radial aircraft engines.

Unpainted, the engine has some light oil staining from running. It feels mechanically as-new, silky smooth to turn over and with good compression.
