A diagonal paddle steamer engine, built to the Edgard Westbury design serialised in "Model Engineer" magazine in the 1950. Reversing, with Stephenson's valve gear.
The engine runs on air in both directions - workmanship is fairly basic, however could be considerably improved by cleaning, fettling and painting.
