7 1/4 inch gauge "Tinkerbell" boiler

A 7 1/4 inch gauge Tinkerbell boiler, commercially built by Bell Boilers and complete with original manufacturer's documentation.

Originally fitted to a commercially-built locomotive, the boiler has had only a handful of steamings. Teething problems with the engine precluded further use, the owner ended up with just a lightly used boiler salvaged from what sounds like a painfully expensive experience.

We've stripped the boiler and taken thickness readings - in good condition throughout it's had a new hydraulic test with certification issued for same.

Complete with washout plugs, grate, blowdown valve and a pair of three-cock water gauges.
