5 inch narrow gauge DeWinton 0-4-0VB

A 5 inch narrow gauge DeWinton "Coffee Pot" 0-4-0VB locomotive, an older engine in "working clothes", we last sold it in 2015 (in somewhat cleaner condition then, it must be said) remarking then on its free-steaming characteristics - it proved little changed when we ran it last week.

The boiler has had hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued. The hand pump has been serviced and a new injector steam valve fitted. The engine runs very well in either direction; both pumps work reliably, the injector works, although better fed from a remote tank than the one mounted on the locomotive, which tends to warm up quickly.
