An older example of LBSC's popular "Speedy" design for a GWR 15XX 0-6-0PT. Whilst paintwork is tired, the engine itself goes well, boiler is in sound condition - a worthwhile winter tidy up project.
Silvered soldered copper boiler with radiant superheaters, 80psi working pressure, feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in the side tank. Gunmetal cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaert's gear, pole reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator.
Complete with a sturdy carrying crate, firing irons, a spare grate and copy of the LBSC construction booklet.
