7 1/4 inch gauge "Sweet William" 0-4-0ST with tender

A 7 1/4 inch gauge "Sweet William" 0-4-0ST with tender, recently arrived in part exchange for a new Stafford.

An older engine which has see regular club use, it came to us with a blanked off flue tube - we've retubed the boiler and issued new hydraulic and steam certificates.

We've fitted the engine with new slide valves, it steams freely and runs well enough forwards, slightly less assured in reverse.

Fitted with vacuum equipment and braked tender.

The tender is fitted with a water tank and electric pump, with quick-fit connectors to the locomotive.
