This one has come to use from a long time customer along with several other gauge 1 locomotives in part exchange for a large 5 inch gauge heavy freight engine. Quite a jump in size, we more often see people trading down to smaller models!
We've steamed the engine - it runs well in either direction. Lighting up was slightly fiddly - the owners' handbook states that "mastery will be achieved in time", but the gas-fired ceramic burner, once lit, made for a free-steaming boiler.
