2 inch scale Clayton steam wagon

An early stage 2 inch scale Clayton steam wagon to Robin Dyer's popular design, published in "Model Engineer" magazine.

Work to date is to a good standard and comprises a rolling chassis with wheels on rubber tyres, Ackerman steering gear, machined cylinders and fabricated crankcase.

There is a silver soldered copper boiler, neatly made, good solder penetration looks good.

Complete with gears, sprockets and drive chain, miscellaneous small parts, a quantity of unmachined castings, some drawings and copies of the original construction articles.
