3 inch scale part-built Burrell 6nhp agricultural engine

A well-advanced 3 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine to the Plastow design, complete with a box of machined parts and castings.

Work to date comprises:

• silver soldered copper boiler

• hornplates

• back axle

• all gearing

• smokebox assembly with perch bracket and front axle, chimney with gunmetal cap

• crank shaft with connecting rod

• machined flywheel

• valve and pump eccentric straps and sheaves

• expansion link with die nut

• tender in brass, complete with step, water pocket and fairleads

• wheels with rubber tyres

• cylinder assembly, complete with guide bars and crosshead

• steering wheel, shaft, worm and gear with chain barrel
