5 inch gauge part-built "Lion"

An early stage 5 inch gauge Liverpool & Manchester "Lion" 0-4-2 to LBSC's "Titfield Thunderbolt" design.

Work to date on this one has been nicely done, comprising rolling chassis with crank axle and eccentric sheaves, a part machined cylinder block in gunmetal and quantity of castings.

The copper boiler is part built to a high standard with neatly flanged plates.
