5 inch gauge Rail Motor 0-4-0T

We sold this one back in 2021 - it's recently arrived back with us in part-exchange as the owner moves into the world of battery-electric locomotives.

A 5 inch gauge Rail Motor 0-4-0T, built to a fairly agricultural standard and now in need of a degree of rebushing and general tidying up.

On the plus side the boiler has had a recent hydraulic test with new certification issued - not a commercial job, and the amount of silver solder suggested Hall marking rather than hydraulic testing - but leak free under pressure.

It runs in both directions on air, the slide valves passing slightly. Both pump clacks leak back and need either attention to their seat or replacement.
