2 inch scale Durham & North Yorkshire traction engine

A nicely built and well-painted 2 inch scale Durham & North Yorkshire agricultural engine to the John Haining design; unused in some time, it requires some work to recommission for steaming.

The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued. The engine will need a second means of putting water into the boiler before steam testing - it currently relies on just a mechanical pump. There is a spare clack valve on the boiler, either an injector or hand pump could be fitted to comply with the boiler regulations.

The reverser link is loose - it's secured by a grubscrew to the weighshaft, which we imagine needs dimpling to give a secure fixing. The engine runs on air in either direction, although low speed performance could be improved by some fine-tuning of the the valve setting.
