3 inch scale Aveling & Porter steam wagon

Another of the Maxitrak Aveling & Porter steam wagons. Based on their well-proven A&P traction engine design, the wagon is, if anything, even more practical to drive with a flat bed to perch on and footrests giving a comfortable driving position, with all controls within easy reach.

Fitted with Maxitrak's legendary "hot rod" high gear, Ashley's notes made when steaming this one read "runs really well, fast little wagon". Couldn't agree more, these free-steaming engines can more than match the pace of a 4 inch traction engine on the road!

Complete with an easy-loading road trailer and tarpaulin cover.
