It's come to us along with another, part-assembled B1, from something of a serial B1 builder - we also had this one from him back in 2010. With advancing years, he's now decided to concentrate on gauge 1 and has already produced a Black 5 in that gauge, he's currently on with the next project.
The engine is substantially complete, remaining work includes setting the valves and sealing various fittings, including the regulator flange and inner dome.
The commercially-built CE-marked boiler was supplied new in 2016 and is complete with manufacturer's documentation.
