Alyn Foundry Retlas castings

A set of castings for an Alyn Foundry "Retlas" engine. Recently cast from his original patterns after having been unavailable for many years, these have come to us from the designer of the model.

A large, technically interesting engine - the castings alone weigh in at around half a hundredweight. We've only ever see one complete example, an engine that we sold back in 2016 - there are pictures in the archive here.

Castings are all in iron, complete with a set of drawings supplied as a pdf file.
