45mm gauge Aster GNR Stirling 8 foot Single with glazed display case

A gauge 1 Stirling 8 foot single, assembled from an Aster kit, serial number 219/300.

Produced as a single batch of 300 locomotives in 1996, they are one of the harder to find  Aster models, particularly in this condition. We suspect the elegance of the design – one of our favourites, we’ve had them in every gauge from 45mm to 7 ¼ inch over the years - combined with being an ideal size to display means that owners tend to hold onto them; we’ve only ever had two through our hands in this gauge.

In excellent, as-new condition, complete with a custom made mirror-backed glass case with leaded edging.

Complete with original manufacturer's packaging, documentation and toolkit.

Given the fragility and weight of the case, it's not practical to ship - collection from works would be preferred, alternatively contact us for a quote to have it delivered by our own transport.
