Stuart No.1 vertical engine with reversing gear

A finely made example of Stuart Turner's elegant No.1 vertical engine. A design dating originally from the late nineteenth century, it's been in their product range ever since - goodness knows how many tons of castings to build them have been sold in the last 120 years! This one is a particularly good example - crisp machining, excellent fit and finish - it runs very well in both directions.
