Stuart Victoria steam plant

A steam plant comprising Stuart 501 boiler with a Stuart Victoria horizontal mill engine. Turns over freely and runs on air - there's a slight leak from the valve chest joint.

Boiler has a tiny dent on top, hardly visible in the photographs - it's otherwise in excellent condition. There's no burner - originally likely to have been the standard spirit-fired job supplied by Stuart, nowadays we would recommend a gas-fired ceramic burner.

The original asbestos firebox insulation has been replaced with non-ceramic millboard.
