2 inch scale Durham & North Yorkshire traction engine

A 2 inch scale Durham & North Yorkshire traction engine to John Haining's popular design - it makes for a large, robust engine in this scale.

Unsteamed from new, there is a leak from under the cylinder block - this needs to come off to be re-sealed. One clack is missing and a second means of getting water into the boiler will be required before steam test.

Boiler is copper, silver soldered - it looks to be well made, with good solder penetration and neatly flanged plates.

Ashpan has been fabricated, along with the damper flap - it needs a hinge pin making and assembling. Grate is in stainless steel.
