4 inch scale Burrell 6nhp agricultural engine with driving truck

A 4 inch scale Steam Traction World Burrell 6nhp agricultural engine. Supplied as a kit in 2010, it was completed and first steamed in 2015.

Since arriving with us the boiler has had internal inspection and hydraulic test - condition of boiler plates and tubes both inside and out is excellent, cladding was last removed in 2021 for club test, for which we have history.

Whilst in the workshop the regulator has been modified to our standard PTFE design, which is steam tight and light to operate, firebox has been fitted with a new fusible plug.

Paintwork, in lined out Burrell maroon, was done to a good standard originally and still presents very well.

Road-registered with V5 document, the engine is complete with a nice pair of brass sprung headlamps, driver's seat and a four wheeled trailer which the previous owner had used as a water cart.

The engine steams freely and runs well. It is offered with full boiler certification and 12 months warranty, complete with starter kit of coal, firing irons, oil and water treatment.

We would be more than happy to give half a day's instruction on the steaming, running and disposal of the engine to a new owner if required.
