1 inch scale steam roller

A 1 inch scale freelance steam roller - rare in any scale, this one is based on the well-regarded "Minnie" design. Whilst we've had many Minnies built to the original agricultural engine design over the years, this is the first time we've had one of the rollers.

We'd put this one at about 70% complete. It's up on its rolls, with finely cast convertible style headstock and forks; cylinder, motionwork and valve gear are fitted; gears all appear to be commercially machined.

Boiler is a commercially made, CE-marked job by Devon Steam Boilers in copper, silver soldered throughout.
