3 1/2 inch gauge GER T19 2-4-0

We sold this one earlier in the year, it's recently come back in part exchange for another project - mechanically as before, it's now been repainted from its previous bilious green into an altogether more appropriate Great Eastern blue.

Words below are from last time it was here, pictures opposite taken this week.

A venerable example of LBSC's "Petrolea", the great man's take on Holden's T19 class of 4-4-0 built for the Great Eastern Railway from 1886 (although for some unfathomable reason somebody decided to paint it in their idea of GWR livery).

Offered as a restoration project, the regulator is seized open; motion doesn't currently run on air in either direction; the offside coupling rod catches the running board and there's a plug missing from the dome.

A handsome engine, normally seen smartly turned out in Great Eastern dark blue - there are pictures of a nice one (scaled up to 5 inch gauge) which we sold years ago in the archive here.
