3 1/2 inch gauge battery electric

A 3 ½ inch gauge battery-electric locomotive with driving truck containing the 12 volt battery powering the whole plot. Intended for ground level use, it's ideal for size zero gymnasts with 6 inch wide backsides and an advanced sense of balance (we have a 3 ½ inch gauge ground level track at my own club, you need to try it to believe it).

Built by a resourceful individual, it is well thought out, if rather basically styled. The locomotive is driven by what looks like a C5 motor, driving through an oil-bath 90 degree gearbox to the bogies, where drive is distributed to all six axles through a plethora of chains.
