3 1/2 inch gauge tank engine

A quirky 3 1/2 inch gauge tank locomotive, of freelance design with - to our eyes - a touch of Emmett about it!

Unused for many years, the boiler appeared leak and distortion free at a twice working pressure hydraulic test, however overall standard of construction is utilitarian - it will need lifting and the cladding removing for thorough inspection before it could be put into service.

Although the chassis is free to roll, opening the regulator doesn't appear to allow air through to the cylinders, which will require further investigation.
