3 inch scale Wallis & Steevens "Simplicity" steam roller

We sold this one in June last year to an experienced model engineer who has worked on it - sufficiently for us to upgrade it from a "project" to "running restoration".

It's now got full club boiler certification, with hydraulic test until 2023 and steam test until August 2020. We've hydraulic tested the boiler again here, it's sound and warrantied as such. In steam the boiler feed pumps work well although the injector is fussy; safety valves open but don't shut reliably.

On the plus side, it runs nicely and rear wheels are rubber tyred, allowing for stealthy rolling.

A 3 inch scale Wallis & Steevens "Simplicity" steam roller, a nicely-built older model in good mechanical order, the boiler has had recent hydraulic test.

Based on the diminutive 3 ton roller built by the Basingstoke company, in 3 inch scale it's of compact size, easy to transport in a small hatchback. The roller is road registered with V5 document.
