5 inch gauge 0-4-0 diesel shunter built on steel chassis with single cylinder pull-start petrol engine. The body is in plywood. Of ingenious design, the engine utilises an Atco 4 stroke engine coupled via centrifugal clutch to a 3-speed Sturmey-Archer type gearbox with band brake. Final drive is by chain to all four wheels. Lever controls at the back of the cab for throttle, brake and gear selection.
This locomotive needs complete restoration but is complete, pushes along freely and the engine turns over.
