5 inch gauge GWR 57XX 0-6-0PT

A 5 inch gauge ModelWorks GWR 57XX 0-6-0PT, what we believe to be a complete engine, stalled midway through an overhaul and repaint.

The boiler has club certification dating from 2018 recording a shell test with a steam test on the same day. It's had a hydraulic test in recent days with new certification issued, we would warranty as sound.

Complete with firing irons and steam-raising blower, this one looks like a straightforward repaint and assemble job - we'd love to see it turned out in lined Metropolitan dark red livery!

One of the rarer ModelWorks engines, in our experience outnumbered by the smaller 14XX by about ten to one going by the engines in the archive.
