5 inch gauge Ride on Railways "Hercules"

A 5 inch gauge "Hercules", commercially manufactured by Ride On Railways to their "Traveller" design.

We've had these in regularly over the last decade - powerful, reliable, pretty much bullet proof, they make ideal engines for a garden railway.

All steel chassis and body, steel wheels. The batteries have been fitted with turned bronze sleeves to accomodate quick-detach connectors - the locomotive strips down quickly into six manageable parts, making it easy to transport and handle by one person.
