5 inch gauge vacuum-braked driving truck

Underneath an unprepossessing exterior is a well thought out and nicely executed 5 inch gauge braked driving truck for raised level running.

Fitted with vacuum brakes and full-size BR brake gauge, showing reservoir and train pipe pressure. Never seen it done before - I think it's super, an interesting detail which adds a lot to the interest of running (or stopping, as it were).

Long overdue for a cosmetic overhaul, it wants stripping and repainting, the horrible seat throwing away and something made that does justice to the quality of the chassis!
