7 1/4 inch narrow gauge braked slate wagon

A well-built 7 1/4 inch narrow gauge slate wagon with steel chassis running on curly-spoke, cast iron wheels with coil-sprung, roller bearing axleboxes.

Complete with footrests, the wagon is braked on all four wheels, using PNP Railway's excellent brake shoes.

Couplings are fitted with shock-absorbing coil springs behind the drag beams.

If you need something for transporting slate, it's ready to go. If you want to sit on it, you'll need to make up a simple seat. If you've got a really steeply graded line at home and intend running a gravity train - we'd like an invite.
