7 1/4 inch gauge "Wren" 0-4-0ST

A well built 7 1/4 inch narrow gauge Kerr Stuart "Wren" to Ken Swan's design, with silver soldered copper boiler.

A particularly attractive narrow gauge locomotive, with both preserved and new-build replicas running in preservation. The "sun shade" canopy style cab gives easy access for driving - typical of narrow gauge models the controls are large and easy to operate.

This one came to us from a long-time customer - we tested it and fitted vacuum brake equipment last year, it's been steamed on a couple of occasions since. There's a short video of it running after its steam test last week here - it goes well, with well-defined exhaust beats, notching up in either direction.

The headlamp is battery powered, with a switch in the base.
