Maxwell Hemmens mill engine steam plant

A Maxwell Hemmens steam plant; it's come to us as part of a single owner collection of Hemmens models, unsteamed and in as-new condition there's some video of it running on air here.

The plant comprises a gas-fired vertical boiler providing steam for a horizontal mill engine fitted with displacement lubricator and a boiler feed pump fed from the water tank. The engine exhausts into an oil separator - which drains to a waste oil tank - and thence to the chimney.

A dynamo is belt driven from the engine flywheel, producing power for the engine room lamp.
