Part-built 5 inch gauge LNER B1

A well-advanced 5 inch gauge LNER B1 to Martin Evans' "Springbok" design. Work to date comprise a largely complete chassis, made to a good standard, professionally-built silver soldered copper boiler by John Ellis, a complete tender, much of the locomotive platework, various boiler fittings including water gauge, safety valves and injectors, a quantity of other machined parts, copies of the original construction articles and a set of drawings.

A good project, well-made and with all the expensive work done.
