Stuart S50 coal-fired steam plant

A steam plant comprising vertical coal-fired boiler and Stuart S50 mill engine. There is a hand pump and water reservoir for the boiler, the whole thing mounted on an attractive wood and checker plate base.

Built some years ago, it was rebuilt in 2021 by a highly talented engineer, the man responsible for one of the finest "Minnie" traction engines we've ever had in, along with a V-twin IC engine of his own design which ran beautifully.

The engine runs on air down to 20psi, with some wear evident; boiler has had a recent hydraulic test with new certification issued.
