Twin launch engine with reversing gear & propellor

A Stuart twin launch engine, fitted with Stephensons reversing gear, marine flywheel, drain cocks and displacement lubricator, the engine mounted on a base with propellor and shaft with universal joint.

The engine is free to turn over and runs on air, better in one direction that the other and with some wear apparent in one of the big ends.
