1 1/2 inch scale Allchin "Royal Chester" agricultural engine

An early stage 1 1/2 inch scale Allchin agricultural engine to Bill Hughes detailed "Royal Allchin" design. Many very fine examples have been built over the years, if you need some inspiration there are pictures of a particularly well made engine which we sold in 2017 in the archive.

Work to date comprises boiler with hornplates, smokebox assembly with chimney and wheels built up.

There is a box of parts included, with parts and - mainly unmachined - castings.
