1 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine

A 1 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine by Maxitrak, with silver-soldered copper boiler by Cheddar Models.

This is one of the early coal-fired models - now rather rare, later versions moved over to gas burners.

We've hydraulic tested it to 120psi, but couldn't get into the smokebox - rather than risk damaging the paint we have declined to issue a certificate, but would warranty the boiler as sound.

The engine runs in both directions on air, though better in reverse than in forwards.

There's a bush on the top of the barrel for a filler valve, though the fitting itself is missing.
