1 inch scale ME beam engine

An exceptionally well-built 1 inch scale beam engine, fit and finish of machined parts is of a high standard. Just over fifty years old, it remains in excellent condition.

Mounted on a replica engine house stone floor with turned steel balustrades. The wooden base board has some edging missing - it truth it could be replaced with something more in keeping with the rest of the engine.

The engine runs well on air down to low speed. There is slight runout on the flywheel, the governor works beautifully - unusual in this scale. There's a short video of it running on air here.
