10 1/4 inch gauge steam outline Atlantic

A venerable 10 1/4 inch gauge Atlantic, very much a "seaside" engine which in recent years has been dry stored in a workshop, unused.

The bodywork easily detaches to reveal a single cylinder four stroke engine driving through gearbox and chains to the chassis - all looks a bit 1950s-ish under the bonnet, nowadays you'd see a hydraulic pump and motors.

With the carburettor stripped and cleaned and some fresh petrol the thing burst back into life, we had a run up and down with it outside the works.

We'd be interested to know more about the history of this engine.
