2 1/2 inch gauge GNR Stirling single

A vintage 2 1/2 inch gauge GNR Stirling Single, we suspect of pre-war build, possibly from commercially produced parts.

An interesting design, the boiler has firetubes and oval section firebox - it appears that there was once a spirit burner which heated both inside the firebox and beneath the barrel. The chassis has two brass cylinders with slide valves actuated by slip eccentric valve gear.

Runs after a fashion on air, although really the thing wants a complete restoration, sympathetic to its age (and possible doing away with the Great Western transfers).
