2 1/2 inch gauge Walschaerts gear tank engine

An old and extremely dilapidated 2 1/2 inch gauge 0-6-0.

Coal-fired copper boiler fed by axle pump and injector. Slide valve cylinders in gunmetal, actuated by Walschaerts valve gear with mechanical lubricator behind front buffer beam. The engine pushes along freely (which, given the state of the motionwork, is unsurprising) and runs on air. The grate, ashpan and locking bar for the smokebox door is missing, otherwise the engine appears complete (although an absolutely revolting colour).
