The engine has to come to us as part of a large collection of stationary engines, road vehicles, locomotives and rolling stock.
Built in road locomotive - rather than the more common Scenic Showmans form - it would make for a more practical engine to use, the absence of canopy greatly facilitating access for driving.
The commercially-built boiler by Bishop-Ellis has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test, with new certification issued. The engine turns over freely and runs nicely on air.
