2 inch scale Burrell "Thetford Town" Showmans engine

An early stage 2 inch scale Burrell DCC Scenic Showmans engine to Ronald.H.Clarke's highly detailed "Thetford Town" design.

Work is to a good standard, assembly to date comprises:

• Silver soldered copper boiler with club certification for initial shell test
• Hornplates
• Tender and crane turret
• Smokebox with chimney
• Belly tanks

In addition, there is a large quantity of loose parts and castings, including:

• Front and rear wheel rims, hub blanks and profiled spokes
• Material for rubber tyres
• Set of spur gearing
• Twisted brass Olivers, wooden canopy ribs and bulbs
• Etched brass works plates
• Unmachined gunmetal castings, including cylinder block with covers, valves etc, differential hub and gears
• Unmachined cast iron flywheel
• Drawings and construction manual
