2 inch scale Fowler BB1 ploughing engine

An older 2 inch scale model of a Fowler BB1 ploughing engine, built to the John Haining design. Silver soldered copper boiler with feed by mechanical pump and injector. Compound cylinder block in cast iron with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear, mechanical lubricator. Winding drum and coiling gear mounted beneath boiler.

The engine runs well - there's a clip of it running in our yard this afternoon here - although need some minor jobs attending to after some time out of use. These include cleaning the somewhat reluctant injector and adjusting the lubricator. Paintwork is getting tired - it doesn't so much need repainting as some sympathetic retouching in places.

Complete with a set of drawings and driving trolley.
