2 inch scale "Minnie" traction engine

A 2 inch scale agricultural engine, scaled up from the popular 1 inch scale "Minnie" design.

The project comprises a large quantity of machined parts including cylinder block and crankshaft, built up wheels, profiled hornplates, flanged and formed tender platework, gears and the majority of a flanged copper boiler kit.

Intended as a beginner's design, it's a straightforward build with a good deal of work already done to a good standard.

It builds up into a good-sized engine, just over a yard long - there are pictures in the archive here of one we sold back in 2018.
