3 1/2 inch gauge BR "Britannia" Class 4-6-2 "Coeur-de-Lion"

We sold this to a prolific collector in Switzerland back in 2015. It's recently arrived back with us as part of a downsizing effort - we've serviced the draincocks & safety valves, issued new hydraulic and steam certificates and taken some new photographs shown opposite.

A 3 1/2 inch gauge Britannia, "Coeur-de-Lion", recently come in part-exchange for a new Feldbahn from a collection in Ireland. Built to the popular LBSC design, it's a well made engine that appears not to have done a lot of work - in its last owner's hands it was used only for display.

Silver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Gunmetal cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaert's gear, screw reverser in cab, mechanical lubricator.

We had this one running outside this morning - it goes well, there's some video of it here.
