3 1/2 inch gauge Britannia

An older 3 ½ inch gauge “Britannia” to LBSC's design. It needs some tidying up and the paintwork is getting pretty motheaten, however it goes well, last in steam for our boiler inspector a fortnight ago.

Silver soldered superheated copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, twin safety valves, feed by injector and axle pump with hand pump in the tender.

Gunmetal cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with screw reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
