3 1/2 inch gauge Conway chassis and boiler

A well-advanced 3 1/2 inch narrow gauge 0-4-0ST to Martin Evans' Hunslet-inspired "Conway" design.

The chassis runs on air, it's complete bar the axle pump eccentric strap and rod.

The silver soldered boiler is well made, with neatly flanged plates and good solder penetration, stamped on the backhead with serial number, test and working pressures.

An attractive design, capturing the look of the larger Quarry Hunslet classes. We've had several in over the years, including this particularly nice one which sold back in 2009.
